VideoFresh: A Brief History
2008
A bright-eyed high school graduate named Rob Wiltsey walked into a classroom at California Polytechnic University, Pomona to begin his first year of his industrial engineering degree. Over the next few years, Rob would become fascinated with process improvement methods such as Six Sigma, Lean, and Agile. During this same time, Rob started producing videos for local companies to pay his way through college.
2013
Rob was now graduated from college and launched his first video marketing company. Along with his partner, Rob produced creative content for brands such as Hollywood Reporter, Goodwill, People Magazine, Delta Airlines, and USA Today. Rob also experienced the way that many brands went about commissioning video content, and the standards by which many production companies operated. As time went on, Rob became fascinated with the possibilities of applying process improvement techniques he had learned to streamline the video production workflow to save clients time and deliver more effective video content.
2016
With a new vision, Rob decided to leave the company he founded to start RWCP (Rob Wiltsey Creative Partners), a boutique video production house with a focus on efficiency. Rob’s team quickly grew and so did their client base. Over several years, the team of 16 produced thousands of videos for clients across many categories. Because of the high volume of projects, the team at RWCP had to continually engineer new processes to ensure that they could keep up with demand. Soon, their system allowed them to quickly guide the client to identify key objectives, streamline the creative process, produce the video at a high level, and exceed expectations with each project.
After years of applying continuous improvement methods to their processes, RWCP evolved into a completely new kind of video production company. Bursting at the seams with these new insights, it was time for the company to relaunch.
2020
In the summer of 2020, VideoFresh was born. Taking all of the insights and experience from thousands of videos produced through RWCP, the VideoFresh team has developed a suite of powerful systems, each engineered to revolutionize a key part of the video production process. From VideoFresh 20-Minute Masterminds, which save clients immense time in the scripting process, to VideoFresh Project Blueprints, which streamline the scoping process of each video, the team is truly transforming the way that videos are produced for brands.
Looking into the future, VideoFresh is passionate about discovering new ways to make the video production process more efficient, more effective, and more enjoyable for clients on a global scale.
