Founded in 1926, Monrovia Nursery Company supplies over 22 million plants each year to garden centers across the country. Their company culture is inspiring, as everyone from those growing in the fields to those working in the offices considers themselves to be “craftsmen” in their field.
Monrovia is unique; it is the only nationwide grower and supplier of garden centers in the US. Monrovia’s truckers can be seen driving their premium products across the country, accounting for the complexity of weather conditions, customer demand, and the seasonality of each plant varietal.
The Monrovia brand manifests itself across the craftsmen who work in the company, the garden centers who Monrovia supplies, and the customers who use Monrovia’s plants to beautify their home gardens. All three of these categories make up the Monrovia family who manifest the brand’s love of nature and quality plants.
Project Objective
Monrovia was looking to elevate their brand and tell their story in a new and fresh way, while increasing engagement on their social media and paid channels. They also wanted content that would appeal to two audiences: their client base of garden centers across the country, as well as the end customers who purchase their products.

Since 2017, the team at VideoFresh has had the pleasure of partnering with Monrovia to tell stories of the craftsmen, garden centers, and customers who all comprise the Monrovia family. These narratives are essential to painting the picture of Monrovia’s one-of-a-kind brand and company culture.
Most recently, VideoFresh produced 12 stories that capture the passion and expertise of the craftsmen within the Monrovia Company. This content was used throughout Monrovia’s branding and both paid and organic social media.

Hearing existing customers rave about your products and services is one of the most powerful things for a new customer to hear to lead them to a purchase. Testimonial videos should be promoted across all of your appropriate social media channels including YouTube.
